In YPC, we believe in developing and empowering our young people through Time, Talent, and Treasure. We need your generosity in giving your Time, Talent, and Treasure to support our young people.

 Time – Donate your time by volunteering.

 Peer Mentoring Program – Mentor a child.

Peer Counseling Program – Provide your collegiate or post high school experiences to at-risk youth.

Service Learning – Participate in one of our Service Learning Projects.

Community Development – Participate in our of our Community Service Projects.

Guide and Mediate Youth Seminars – Provide self help strategies to socially and academically at-risk middle and high school students.

 IThink Ladder Up Speaker Series – Tell your story and make a difference.

Community Youth Health and Leadership Initiative Symposiums – Provide a workshop or seminar on a variety of topics related to your expertise.

Summer and Spring Institute – Provide a training in the areas of Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field to the student Peer Helpers.

Susan L. Hart Memorial Education Scholarship Fund

 

Support the Susan L. Hart Memorial Education Scholarship Fund. A co-founder and inspiration for the development of Youth for Positive Change Regional Collaborative.

 

Susan L. Hart was an educator and youth advocate for more than 25 years. Mrs. Susan L. Hart dedicated her life to the betterment of all children. She was an outstanding educator who educated children in the elementary, middle school, and high school level. Mrs. Hart dedicated her life to the spirit of volunteerism. More importantly, she believe that no one in this society is expendable.

 

Annually, graduating twelve grade students who demonstrated selfless service and high standards receive a scholarship.
