Mission

The mission of Youth for Positive Change Regional Collaborative is to develop and empower young people physically, mentally, and socially in secondary campuses.

Who We Are

Youth for Positive Change Regional Collaborative (YPC) is a non-profit association dedicated to the development and empowerment of youth ages 12-25. Founded in 1998, YPC implements programs to assist students succeed in secondary campuses.

YPC believes that young people are society’s greatest resource. They are the key to solving many of today’s issues and an important asset to communities. The association develops programs that are supported by research and implements data driven programs.

What We Do

YPC implements peer centered and peer run programs that allow youth in middle schools and high schools to be an active part of the solution to the many issues that plague secondary campuses. These programs work collaboratively with on-campus and off-campus organizations to address at-risk and negative peer behaviors.

The association trains young people to be peer helpers -- Peer Assistants, Peer Mediators, or Peer Counselors. Peer helpers received training in Communication, Confidentiality, Conflict Management, and Mentoring.
